2024 BLACK STUDENT SUCCESS WEEK
Registration is now open for the 2024 Black Student Success Week scheduled for April 22-26, 2024. This year's theme is Building a Better Future Together: the Urgency is Now. The Black Student Success week’s “The Black Hour” will focus on innovative approaches to ensure Black and African American students succeed at California Community Colleges.
The following week’s activities will be held virtually:
- Daily webinars hosted from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. (called The Black Hour)
- Daily small group discussion forums from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. (called The After Party)
- A virtual advocacy day on Thursday, April 25, 2024 (called The BlackOut)
- Daily student-centered webinars hosted Monday, April 22-Thursday, April 25 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. (called The Student Hour)

The website provides all the necessary information regarding Black Student Success Week activities, including registration information, a full schedule of upcoming events and an overview of topics that will be discussed during the week. Be sure to check the website regularly for updates.
Registration information regarding The Student Hour, hosted by the ICanGoToCollege.com campaign, will be provided shortly. Current and prospective community college and high school students, parents and influencers will join daily The Student Hour webinars to receive information regarding available resources to help current and prospective Black and African American community college students succeed.
