Transfer Programs
Feather River College offers transfer pathways designed to help students move successfully to four-year institutions. Students can complete lower-division coursework, prepare for major requirements, and, where appropriate, complete Cal-GETC to meet lower-division general education requirements for transfer to California public universities.
Transfer requirements vary by campus, major, and the student’s catalog year, so early planning is important. We encourage students to work closely with a counselor or advisor to build an education plan that supports their transfer goals.
Use ASSIST , California’s official transfer and articulation system, to review how Feather River College courses apply to transfer requirements, major preparation, and articulation agreements.
Students can also connect with FRC’s Transfer Center and schedule an advising appointment for personalized guidance. For assistance by phone, call 530-283-0202 ext. 215 or 313.
If you are exploring transfer beyond California public universities, including options such as the University of Nevada, Reno, meet with a counselor or advisor to review current transfer guidance and available resources.
Start planning early and take advantage of the transfer tools and advising support available to make your path to a four-year institution as clear and efficient as possible.
