FRC is a Smoke & Tobacco Free Campus
To create a healthy campus environment for all who visit, Feather River College (FRC) has announced that it is now a 100 percent smoke- and tobacco-free campus. The campus will begin enforcing this decision beginning on July 1st, 2021.
The decision was made due to a state-wide recommendation to adopt a smoke- and tobacco-free campus policy, following the lead of CSU and UC campuses, who have been smoke- and tobacco-free since 2017 and 2014, respectively. On May 20th, 2021, the Board of Trustees unanimously voted to adopt the policy effective immediately.
