Job Fair

JOB FAIR FOR STUDENTS & COMMUNITY MEMBERS

Feather River College will be working in partnership with the Alliance for Workforce Development to host the inaugural Feather River College Job Fair this spring. The fair will bring companies and organizations from all over the region in an effort to connect job seekers with potential employment. The fair will be March 6 from 4:30-8 in the FRC gym.

In an effort to connect FRC students with potential employers, the evening will start with exclusive FRC student access to the employers from 4:30-6:30 with a free dinner for all students in attendance. The job fair will then be open to the whole community from 6:00-8:00 p.m. FRC Job Fair staff are glad to offer this service as a chance to give FRC students access to part time and full time work, or summer jobs that can help them further their employability skills and specialize in their preferred industry. The college is also partnering with the AFWD, the career services organization in the region, to help connect all local job seekers with employers.

While the list of employers is ever growing, the college anticipates a variety of organizations and industries to be at the event including the U.S. Forest Service, Sierra Pacific Industries, municipal and educational organizations, and tourism and recreation companies.
