Feather River College Rodeo
Join us for our annual FRC rodeo! Featuring teams from the West Coast Region who will bring their rodeo athletes to the Plumas County Fairgrounds to showcase their talent in the arena. Students will be able to compete in Saddle Bronc Riding, Bareback Riding, Bull Riding, Tie-Down Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, and Goat Tying.
We are thrilled to announce that Feather River College will kick off the 2022 West Coast National Intercollegiate Rodeo season this September 30th and October 1st at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds! We are looking for your help to put on this outstanding event. In the past, it has been a highlight in the community and an economic benefit to Plumas County. The funds we raised last year provided us the opportunity to send nine student-athletes to compete at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, WY this past summer. In exchange for your support, we recognize and promote your business or honor your family in our program advertisements and/or during the rodeo performances through arena banners, chute signs, and announcements. Feather River College has developed a nationally recognized rodeo program because of the generous support of our sponsors.
