You will be invited to join Phi Theta Kappa if you meet these eligibility requirements:

  1. Possess a 3.50 GPA at Feather River College in degree eligible coursework (coursework towards an associates degree)
  2. Have completed 12 units of this coursework at Feather River College (units transferred from other institutions are not counted).
  3. Be currently enrolled the semester of invitation.

Once inducted, members must maintain the 3.25 GPA and remain in good, ethical standing with the College.

Invitation to Join

By the fourth week of each semester eligible students will receive an emailed invitation to join. This will be sent to student FRC.edu email accounts from the Phi Theta Kappa headquarters. The invitation will include a membership pass-code and a link to the online-membership page, www.ptk.org.

Membership Fees

All membership and the $80 membership fee is handled through the Phi Theta Kappa Headquarters ($60 goes to the international organization; $5 goes to the NC/CA Regional Office; $15 is returned to the chapter for local dues). Once the student joins, they will begin receiving information about chapter meetings and events on the email account they registered with the membership.
