Julie Murphy

Julie Murphy has worked at Feather River College since 2012, most currently in the Instructional Resource Center as an Instructional Assistant.  Julie graduated from FRC in 2013 with an AA in Business and an AA in Administrative Office Management. She then transferred to the online Sociology BA program at CSU Chico, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2016. She has expertise in working with students with disabilities and is trained in Mental Health First Aid and Suicide Intervention. She currently serves as Classified Senate Treasurer and is a member of the Budget, Sustainability, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility shared governance committees.  Her personality is welcoming and open, and her life motto is making sure people are seen, heard and valued.  Julie’s favorite pastime is walking in the woods with her family, which includes her two Chihuahuas.
