Welcome Go Teach Coaches

Flexibility of requirements is necessary in order to find the best match between a coach and a participant. When you contact us, we will need to gather information on your experience and education in relation to age group, setting, positions held, and geographic area. 

Required Qualifications: 

• Experience and education addressing the specific age group and setting of the participant. 
• Demonstrated commitment to the field of Early Childhood Education 
• Ability to build positive and supportive partnerships with other adults 
• Ability to think reflectively and encourage reflective practices in others

Preferred Qualifications:

• Center-Based programs ages (0–2) — Experience and a minimum of 6 units in infant/toddler care and education or equivalent.
• Center-Based programs ages (3–5) — A Master Teacher Level Permit or higher.
• Public, Private or Charter Schools — Appropriate education and experience for a position at the facility for the age to be served and program type. 
• Family Child Care - Successful owner/operator of a family child care home for a minimum of two years with, some formal education or training in Early Childhood Education. 

There is a small stipend paid to coaches as funding allows.

Coaching can be a very rewarding experience. As coaches, we gain many new insights as we view participants' growth, appreciate their successes and support them as they navigate new challenges. Insights about ourselves deepens our understanding of best practices and methods of supporting unique individuals on their career paths. The partnerships developed with coaching often create lifelong friendships and professional relationships to treasure.
