Go Teach is an adult Education Program at Feather River College. The program was launched in 2016 to initially support Early Childhood Education students at FRC. It has since grown to include students, employees in ECE programs, family child care providers, and volunteers.
Our goals are to:
- Develop a qualified job pool by assisting participants in gaining the necessary skills and coursework for employment in the field of Early Childhood Education.
- Increase job retention by supporting the success, confidence and continuing skills of new staff
- Encourage professional growth and continuation in the ECE field by providing resources, information and career development opportunities to move up the career ladder and achieve higher level positions in the ECE field.
We provide individualized coaching to participants to help build the skills needed to be successful in guiding and teaching children and developing programs for children birth through grade 3. We also provide resources, career advising, training and other supports.
Eligible ECE programs include:
- Licensed center- based programs
- Public, private, and charter schools through grade 3
