Week of Welcome Back 2024
Each new semester, FRC offers students a week full of activities to help encourage networking and allow new students to meet others. These events are a great way to meet new people, become familiar with your surroundings, and have a fun start to each semester. *Please note that all events and activities are subject to change.

New Student Orientation (for new spring '24 students only)
Learn what it takes to be a successful student at New Student Orientation (NSO). Meet other new students and staff, learn about programs and services, and join in some fun games and activities. Check in starts at 9:00am at the library, followed by a campus tour and a free lunch at the Perch afterwards. All students planning to attend New Student Orientation must register below!

Men's Home Basketball Game
Join us for the first men’s home basketball game of the season, as the Golden Eagles take on the College of the Redwoods. Students in attendance will receive free pizza, so come out and cheer on your Golden Eagle basketball team at their first home contest of the season!

Coffee & Pastries
Jump-start your first day of the spring semester with free coffee and pastries for all students in the Perch! This is a great opportunity to meet some new classmates before heading to class. We hope you can join us!

Resource Fair & Nacho Bar
The Resource Fair is one of the most important aspects to our Week of Welcome activities. This event features tons of resources to help you become a successful student at FRC, plus a free nacho bar and fall sports highlight reel. This is an event you want to attend, regardless if this is your first semester or not, as there will be tons of FRC resources and support services there to help you!

Bowling Bonanza
Head on down to the Sierra Bella Lanes Bowling Alley in Quincy for a Bowling Bonanza to cap off your first week of the spring semester! This is a super fun event and there will be free loaded fries for all students in attendance. Do not miss out on this opportunity to connect with fellow students off campus and visit one of the coolest spots in Quincy!

Free Movie Screening: "Poor Things"
Cruise down to the Town Hall Theater in Quincy for a free screening of the movie, "Poor Things". There will be free popcorn and soda for all students in attendance.
Movie deets: From filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos and producer Emma Stone, comes the incredible tale and fantastical evolution of Bella Baxter (Stone), a young woman brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe). Check out the trailer here!
