New Student Orientation (for new fall '24 students only)

Learn what it takes to be a successful student at New Student Orientation (NSO). Meet other new students and staff, learn about programs and services, and join in some fun games and activities. Check in starts at 8:45am outside of the gymnasium, followed by a Resource Fair, campus tour, and a free lunch at the Perch afterwards! NOTE - all students planning to attend New Student Orientation must register below.

Welcome Dinner

Students - join us at the basketball courts down near AG/Equine for a FREE "Welcome Dinner" and an evening of games, music, laughs, and more! All FRC students, both returning and new, are invited. We hope you can join us!

AUG 19

8:30 - 10:30am

Coffee & Pastries

Jump-start your first day of the fall semester with free coffee and pastries for all students in the Perch! We will also have folks standing by with directions to classrooms and ready to answer any questions you all might have on your first week at FRC!

AUG 20

11:30am - 1:00pm

Games on the Green

Ready to have some fun in between your new daily course schedule? Stop by in between classes for some fun games on the upper green with your fellow Golden Eagles. There will be prizes and music, plus lots of fun and a great way to meet other new students!

AUG 21

5:00 - 7:00pm

Pool Party

Who is ready for a good, ol' fashioned pool party? Join us for the annual Week of Welcome Pool Party at Pioneer Park in East Quincy! There will be a FREE dinner for students, plus lots of fun pool games. We hope you can join in on this fun event and start meeting some new Golden Eagles!

Concert on the Green

The famous Concert on the Green is back again this year, featuring FRC alum, Jesse Williams. Bring your dancing shoes to the lower green on the FRC campus and join us for a FREE dinner and fun. All FRC students, staff, and local community members are invited to this fun-filled and family friendly event. Can’t wait to see you there!

Movie & Dinner on Campus

We are wrapping up our Week of Welcome with a FREE movie and pizza dinner on the lower green for FRC students. Featuring the film, V is for Vendetta, we hope you can join us for a fun evening to help wrap up our annual Week of Welcome events!
