2020 - 2021 President / Officer

Angelina is a valuable member of this past year's organization. Angelina is the recipient of the Coca Cola Silver Academic Team Scholarship, the Guistwhite Scholarship, and ranked First Academic Team by the California League of Community Colleges for 2021!

 

We are currently seeking Officers for the 2021-2022 school year. Please submit any interest in joining the organization to Anna Thompson at athompson@frc.edu!

Recent Awards

The FRC Phi Theta Kappa chapter recently received multiple awards and honors this past year, including:

  • The Distinguished Honors in Action Theme Award (21 given)
  • The Distinguished Honors in Action Project Award (50 given)
  • Our Honors in Action Project was also chosen for publication in the PTK Civic Scholar Undergraduate Research Journal.

On top of this, FRC students Angelina Wilson and Olivia Long made it onto the All-California Academic Team. Congratulations and all of FRC is proud of your accomplishments!

The mission of Phi Theta Kappa is to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of college students and to provide opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in scholarship, leadership, fellowship and service programming.

The Feather River College Phi Theta Kappa chapter is Alpha Psi Zeta which was founded in 1993. This chapter is part of the Nevada/California region. The FRC chapter strives to support its members in their academic achievement and pursuits, assist members in transfer ambitions; facilitate members' professional and leadership development; serve the campus and community.
