Supporting Student Wellness: Harm Reduction Strategies for Tobacco and Nicotine Use

October 17

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Room 605 - Come to the Student Wellness and Success Center

Hosted by FRC Mental Health Services and Plumas County Public Health.

Join us for an engaging and informative workshop led by Health Education Specialist, Kainoa Hall from Plumas County Public Health’s Tobacco Use Reduction Program. This session is designed for faculty, staff, and student leaders who work directly with students and want to learn more about harm reduction techniques and emerging best practices in tobacco and nicotine use prevention.

Whether you're supporting students who are curious about vaping, nicotine alternatives, or quitting strategies, this training will equip you with tools to foster open, nonjudgmental conversations and promote healthier choices.

Lunch Provided!
