FRC Rodeo has Dominant Fall Season

The FRC Rodeo team wrapped up the last rodeo of the fall season in Coursegold, CA and showed up to win! Here are some highlights from regional rodeo #1:

-Cody Stewart won the All-Around

• 1st in the Team Roping
• 2nd in the Tie-Down Roping

-Garrett Shell won 2nd in the Steer Wrestling

-Joseph Rawls won 3rd in the Steer Wrestling

• 2nd in the Team Roping

-Jonathan Pasch won 2nd in the Team Roping

-Chloe Lambert won 3rd in the Goat Tying

Here are some highlights from regional rodeo #2-

-Cobie Dodds won the All-Around

• 1st in the Team Roping
• 3rd in the Tie-Down Roping
• 6th in the Steer Wrestling

-Davis Mardesich won 3rd in the Saddle Bronc

-Weston Smith won 2nd in the Tie-Down Roping

-Cody Stewart won 4th in the Steer Wrestling

• 5th in the Team Roping

-Garrett Shell won 5th in the Steer Wrestling

-Chloe Lambert won 2nd in the Goat Tying

After completing the fall season, the men’s team has a dominant 1200 point lead over the second place team, CSU Fresno. The women’s team also had a great event and are now sitting in fourth place in the region. On an individual basis, we have students leading the Men’s All-around, Tie-Down Roping, and Steer Wrestling events and have 10 FRC athletes sitting in the top five of their event. It has been an outstanding fall rodeo season and we look forward to the next rodeo in the spring- March 4-5 in Clovis.
