Graduation is this Friday at 1pm on the football field rain or shine. Please meet in the Athletic Field House area located at the lower end of the main parking lot at 12:30 and be ready to line up by 12:45pm, sharp. To make sure everyone can see, umbrellas will not be allowed for the graduates during the ceremony. If rain covering is needed, please get a poncho to wear over your gown. Also, keep in mind you will be walking through grass to get down to the stadium and walking on the football field. Please wear appropriate footwear to walk in uneven grass and to climb the stairs onto the stage. A mask will be required when 6ft of space cannot be kept, FRC has ordered special graduation masks that we will be handing out for you to wear. You may decorate your caps, have fun with it!
Rehearsal will be at 8:45 am Friday morning. If you are graduating with honors, you will be given your honor cords at rehearsal. All graduates will be given a card that states your name and degrees/certificates for Dr. Connell to read during the ceremony. At rehearsal, you have an opportunity to add a sentence to thank someone OR share your plans after graduation. One sentence will also be read by Dr. Connell. It is really important that you attend rehearsal to go over this information with Dr. Connell and participate in the walk-through.
Also, as a reminder, each graduate is limited to 5 guests unless arrangements have been made with my office for extra. We are limited on our capacity and have to remain within the guidelines. This year graduation will be live streamed through the FRC Facebook page. Visit www.frc.edu/graduation for more information!
