FRC O Rowdy Mort, “Mort”, is a three-year-old bay gelding born and raised at Feather River College standing at 15 hands. His sire, Rowdy Yankee, has over $95k in lifetime earnings with over 1 Million in sire earnings. Mort is an in your pocket gelding that will meet you at the gate everyday. He is level headed, calm and approaches new things with ease. He has encountered the flag, heel-o-matic, tarps, bridges, been roped off of, dragged objects, and can open and close gates. With a smooth ride, Mort can take his next rider in any direction.

A little bit about the student
Maisy Schwartz is from Mendocino, California. She came to FRC in the Fall of 2022 for an associates degree of Equine Studies with a focus in horse training and plans to graduate in the Summer of 2024. Maisy has an interest in show jumping and her future goals include working at a show barn, and managing her own one day. Maisy's best memory at FRC was taking the conformation class to learn more about the skeletal structures and equine builds.
