Feather River College is dedicated to the health and safety of our students, employees, and community during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Following the guidance from health authorities, offices are currently closed on campus, but student support services remain available through an online delivery system.
We are committed to continuing to provide the excellent service that our students are used to and are available to meet with students through Zoom and by phone as well as responding as quick as possible to email and voicemail. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition.

The Admissions and Student Accounts staff can answer questions about withdrawls, refunds, transcripts, future enrollment and more!

Admissions forms are now fillable, and staff are responding to email and available for a phone appointment.

The Financial Aid staff is available to answer questions about the current year and the 2020-2021 academic year.

* If you are receiving federal financial aid (grants, loans), the CARES legislation was passed Friday and will provide some leniency with repayment of funds and satisfactory academic progress. More information will be forthcoming and available on the Financial Aid website

The FRC Library provides online services including electronic resources for students, subject guides, and a live 24/7 Chat with a Librarian. The Library building is currently closed due to COVID-19 precautions, but the staff are working remotely so please email and a staff member will get back to you as soon as possible.

Online classes are new for many students. FRC staff is available to answer your questions and help you through the transition!

The Academic Advising and Counseling staff are available to help!  They are conducting meetings by Zoom and phone, and responding to emails.

To register for summer or fall, schedule an appointment. If you are considering withdrawing from any classes, we strongly encourage you to check with them first to ensure that it will not impact your ability to graduate, transfer, athletic eligibility, or other program eligibility.

The Disability Support Program for Students and Workability III Program staff are committed to supporting students in the program and welcoming new students into the program.

FRC provides free, confidential counseling to currently enrolled students through the Mental Health and Wellness Center Auguest - May.

All FRC students have access to free 24/7 online tutoring services though NetTutor. Through NetTutor, student can meet with a live tutor, drop off a question, drop off a paper, and access the subject area locker room, where you can watch videos of previous sessions, pick up reviewed papers, or any additional feedback.

Steps to access NetTutor:

1. Login to Canvas

2. Click on "Online Student Resources" in the green menu box on the left side of the page

3. Click on "NetTutor" at the top left

4. Find course that you need assistance in, and then click it

Other Tutoring Services:

  • TRiO students have access to tutoring services through the TRiO Program.
  • Students with disabilities are encouraged to contact the DSPS office.
  • The Instructional Resource Center is not open during June and July.

Many instructors use a learning management system called Canvas to assign and collect work. All registered students have a canvas account.
