Faculty Evaluation Processes and Resources

Welcome to the FRC Faculty Evaluations page where both Full- and Part-time faculty members may find resources for the evaluation process. These processes are guided by the Collective Bargaining Agreements for Full-time (Articles 12 and 13) and Associate Faculty (Article 6). Please review these articles thoroughly.

Forms and timelines for those being evaluated and the evaluators can be found in the Full-time or Part-time sections below.

The collaborative process will consist of a self, peer/panel, student, and administrative evaluation; your peer evaluator(s) and the Chief Instructional Officer will visit one of your courses separately as part of the process, either in-person or online as apropos.

Along with the your thoughtful reflection in the Self-Evaluation form (and Professional Service form for full-time), the following instructional materials must be included:

  • Course syllabi
  • Evidence of assessment of SLOs
  • Course evaluation instruments

These be provided to your peer/panel to assist them with their review component.

Faculty being evaluated and their peer/panel members will receive communications from the Instruction Office throughout the process. Questions may be directed to Adminsitrative Assistant, Lori Bergum at lbergum@frc.edu or CIO, Derek Lerch at dlerch@frc.edu.
