Horse Description
3 year old Gray AQHA Gelding
FRC Major Wish, “Major” is a three-year old, 15 hand, gray AQHA gelding that was born and raised at Feather River College. He has a unique sorrel patch on his forehead. Major is a grandson of Playgun on the topside, and a grandson of Tomcat Chex on the bottom. He is a very well rounded and talented horse that carries his solid foundation through and through. He is ready to go in any direction you wish to take him! Major has been ridden outside a lot, and has worked/tracked live cattle and burros. Major will excel in various types of ranch work, and has the ability to become an excellent rope horse.

A little bit about Jake
Jake Swift is originally from Raymond, California. He grew up in the horse and cattle industry, mostly in the ranching and cowboying side of it. Jake started competing in high school rodeo, where he grew a passion for rodeo. Afterwards, he came to Feather River College to build on his horsemanship and learn more in depth about the process of starting young horses. Jake is currently on the FRC rodeo team and competes in Team Roping.
