| Disaster Table | Instructions |
| 1. Floods: Egypt loses 6 RFs | At the end of each Game-turn, the player with the lowest Civilization Level must pick one Disaster off the Disaster Table. If two players are at the same Level, the player with the fewest RFs at that Level gets to choose the Disaster. If two players are tied for the lowest Civilization Level, then no Disaster is picked during that Game-turn. RF losses must be taken off that country's Civilization Chart. Each Disaster may be used only once per game. No Disaster is picked on the last turn. If the chart says 'any country,' then the person picking the Disaster picks the country to be hit. |
| 2. Earthquake: Hittites lose 5 RFs | 3. Rebellion: any country loses 6 RFs |
| 4. Floods: Babylon loses 5 RFs | |
| 5. Famine: any country loses 8 RFs | |
| 6. Plague: any country loses 8 RFs | |
| 7. Barbarian Invasion: any country loses 10 RFs |
