Amanda Sbragia-Assistant Volleyball Coach

Sbragia comes to Feather River College from Texas Tech University where she lettered in volleyball for two years for the Red Raiders.
Before attending Texas Tech, Sbragia played two years of volleyball at the junior college level under Coach Sarah Ritchie where she was a two time All-Golden Valley Conference selection. While at Feather River, Sbragia amassed 485 kills, with a .416 percentage, ranking her 3rd in the state of California in her sophomore season. She was also named FRC’s 2006 Female Athlete of the Year after lettering in volleyball, basketball and softball.
After Feather River, Sbragia transferred to Texas Tech University where she had a solid collegiate career as an outside hitter and opposite.
Sbragia returned to Feather River in the fall of 2009 as an assistant coach where she helped guide the Golden Eagles to a Northern California playoff appearance. The 2010 season was one of importance as Sbragia helped lead the Golden Eagles to a Golden Valley Conference championship, going 10-0 in the regular season.
She also currently works Feather River Volleyball Summer Camps as well as having worked Texas Tech Volleyball Camps under former head coach Nancy Todd.
Sbragia received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University in the spring of 2009. The Dayton, NV. native graduated from Dayton High School in 2005.
