Rodriguez, Wilson, Redman and Mahaffey receive Golden Valley All-Conference Awards.

Nancy Rodriguez and Kayla Wilson were voted All-Conference 1st team award this season. Nancy Rodriguez, the Golden Eagles setter, was ranked 15th in the state for assists and was also ranked in the top 20 for aces. She led the Golden Valley Conference in assists and was a huge factor in getting Feather River College into the playoffs this year. Kayla Wilson was a dominating force at the middle position this year. She was ranked in the state for kills, blocks, aces and digs. In her last 5 conference games Kayla had at least 15 kills in each match. Katie Redman and Cassi Mahaffey were voted All-Conference Honorable Mention by the Golden Valley Conference coaches. Redman finished the season ranked 21st in the state for kills and Mahaffey was ranked 8th in the state for blocks. With three of these talented freshman continuing their playing careers with Feather River College next fall, FRC looks to have quite the team next year. |
