FRC Cheer & Dance Program

This program is a cheer/dance squad that participates at both FRC football and basketball home games.

We are dedicated and committed to the development of a quality cheer and dance program that will boost school unity, morale, spirit and support athletic and co-curricular programs. Membership on the cheer/dance squad offers a unique opportunity for personal growth, leadership, and involvement in diverse activities. Members of the squad must be committed to the highest level of athleticism, performance, self-discipline, respect for the school and others, personal exemplary conduct and the performance of all responsibilities related to the pursuit of school spirit and pride. Squad members must demonstrate the ability to balance academic requirements and demands with extra-curricular and personal activities.

This program will require three or more team practices per week and three training and conditioning practices at the Athletic Club throughout the week on your own time. Team practices will cover all phases of cheerleading including, motions, jumps, sidelines, stunting, dancing, and tumbling skills, etc. as well as routine practice for halftime performances and shows. Our football program will have more emphasis on cheerleading, with sidelines, stunting, and working with the fans during the game and performance routines for halftime. Our basketball program will have more emphasis as a dance squad with performances for halftimes that will cover more technique and include hip-hop, jazz and pom routines.

The goal of our program is to promote and support these sports teams as well as interact and promote spirit with the student body and the fans.
