       Jesse Segura has been involved in rodeo his whole life.  His rodeo abilities led him to the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association Men’s All-Around championship in 2003.  His knowledge of the sport allowed him to hold the office of National student president of the NIRA the same year.  Other rodeo accomplishments led him to the California circuit finals for the last six years competing in the events of Saddle Bronc riding and Bulldogging.  Jesse’s academic & intercollegiate rodeo background started at Lassen Community College, he then transferred to West Hills Community College, and then went on to California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, Ca. where he acquired a bachelors in Earth Science with a minor in Political Science.  He then went on to get his Masters from Cal Poly in Environmental Policy.  Jesse lives in Quincy with his wife Valerie and two sons Rio and Ryder.
