Agriculture Classes and Certificates
Feather River College offers two new certificates in agriculture. A Ranch technology certificate that deals with actual ranch operations from fencing and irrigation to metal fabrication and computer applications. The second certificate is a general Agriculture Certificate. This certificate will embody the basics of agriculture with several agribusiness classes and animal sciences classes. The certificates will prepare students for job opportunities in various fields of agriculture. The majority of our ag classes also will transfer to four year colleges for those interested in transferring. Ag students interested in a two year A.S. degree can enroll in our University Studies/Ag Transfer program. Our new agricultural courses will compliment the well established Equine Studies program and the popular Rodeo Program at Feather River College—a great choice for anyone interested in agriculture.
