Distance Education At FRC

The primary goal of the FRC distance education program is to serve the residents of the Feather River Community College District, both at the remote campuses in Chester and Portola and in Plumas County at large. Teleconferencing is currently available at the Chester location, and students are able to take certain computer-based courses from their homes.

The main support page for Internet based Distance Education at FRC is: www.frc-online.com . The site uses the popular Course Management System called Moodle. Both Distance Education and face-to-face classes use this site to support instruction.
