DIRECTOR OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER

Regular, Classified Manager, Full-Time, 10-month, $38,221–$48,394/ annually
Under the direction of CSSO coordinates, supervises and models a high quality early childhood education and care program and oversees general operations of the FRC Child Development Center. Assures compliance with State and Federal regulations, prepares and monitors the CDC’s budget, supervises staff, student employees, and children enrolled in the Center.  Possess a current Child Development Program Director Permit or ability to obtain one by August 1st, 2015. FACULTY POSITIONS

ANIMAL SCIENCE & RANCH MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTOR
 

Certificated, Tenure-track, Full-Time, 10-month, $50,797 - $90,318/ annually

Under general supervision, the agriculture instructor is responsible for teaching agriculture courses and for planning, developing, and maintaining the departmental curriculum which includes the Equine and Ranch Management Bachelor of Science degree program that is currently being developed.  The agriculture instructor will teach lower and upper division courses in agriculture business, farm management, animal science and other courses as assigned in areas of his or her expertise.  Master’s degree in agriculture, agriculture science, education with a specialization in agriculture or other agricultural area OR the equivalent. ASSISTANT FOOTBALL COACH

Temporary, Certificated, Part-time
Looking for one Defense and one Offensive Skill coach. Duties may include assisting in football operations, recruiting, academic monitoring, practice organization, video editing, and other related activities. Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience or the equivalent is required for 10-month coaching stipend of $9,500. Teaching opportunities are also available dependent on qualifications. COMMUNICATION STUDIES INSTRUCTOR

Temporary, Certificated, Part-Time
To teach a wide range of college level courses in the discipline of Communication Studies.  Master’s in Speech, speech broadcasting, telecommunications, rhetoric, communication, communication studies, speech communication, or organizational communication OR a Bachelor’s in any of the above AND Master’s in drama/theater arts, mass communication, or English OR the Equivalent.  Teaching experience preferred, yet not required. EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR

To teach a wide range of college level courses in the discipline of administration of justice.  Master’s in child development, early childhood education, human development, home economics/family and consumer studies with a specialization in child development/early childhood education, educational psychology with a specialization in child development/early childhood education OR Bachelor’s in any of the above AND Master’s in social work, educational supervision, elementary education, special education, psychology, bilingual/bicultural education, life management/home economics, family life studies, or family and consumer studies OR the equivalent. ENGLISH INSTRUCTOR

To teach a wide range of college level courses in the discipline of English.  Master’s in English, literature, comparative literature, or composition OR a Bachelor’s in any of the above AND Master’s in linguistics, TESL, speech, education with a specialization in reading, creative writing, or journalism OR the Equivalent.  Teaching experience preferred, yet not required. Provides both advising and recruiting services to new and continuing students. Advises new and continuing students on course selection and degree requirements of various programs and majors; assigned to certain programs and majors to provide specialized advising, work directly with faculty on curriculum issues and course sequencing, and assist students with developing transfer and job opportunities; provides advising services to students eligible for EOPS and Care/CalWorks; develops  Student Education Plans (SEP)  for every student; Coordinates and conducts local, regional, and out of state student recruitment activities; organizes and coordinates recruitment events. EDUCATIONAL TALENT SEARCH ADVISOR  
Regular, Classified, Part-Time (75%), 9-month, $20.38-$24.74/ hr

Position works with economically and educationally disadvantaged 6th through 12th grade students to assist them in attending college.  Candidates must have excellent record keeping skills, ability to multitask, and have the ability to work with a diverse group of students and high school/college staff.  Bachelor’s degree required.
