Under direction, to coordinate the daily operations of the CalWORKS Program; to provide support services for CalWORKS students participating in a welfare to work program and overall coordination of CalWORKS services to program participants. Students must be eligible from county welfare department and make satisfactory progress toward their academic goal. Under general supervision, plans, implements and evaluates age appropriate curriculum for preschool age children; performs a variety of care and supervision duties with children, assists in maintaining a safe and healthy environment, maintains documentation related to State requirements and perform related duties as assigned. 24 units in ECE including the core courses and 16 General Education units and 175 days of 3 + hours per day within the last 4 years OR AA in ECE or related field with 3 units supervised field experience in an ECE setting.
