ASSOCIATE (ADJUNCT) FACULTY POSITIONS

AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS INSTRUCTOR

Temporary, Academic, Part-Time
To teach a wide range of college level courses in the Agricultural Business Program.  Any Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience OR any Associate’s degree and six years of experience OR the Equivalent. Teaching experience preferred, yet not required.  EOE. Position open until filled.

 

AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING INSTRUCTOR

Temporary, Academic, Part-Time
To teach a wide range of college level courses in the Agricultural Engineering Program.  Any Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience OR any Associate’s degree and six years of experience OR the Equivalent. Teaching experience preferred, yet not required.  EOE. Position open until filled.

 

AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION INSTRUCTOR

Temporary, Academic, Part-Time
To teach a wide range of college level courses in the Agricultural Production Program.  Any Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience OR any Associate’s degree and six years of experience OR the Equivalent. Teaching experience preferred, yet not required.  EOE. Position open until filled.

 

ASSOCIATE HEAD WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY/TRACK & FIELD COACH 

Temporary, Academic, Part-time
Under the direction of the Athletic Director, perform duties to include planning, coordinating and implementation of the intercollegiate sport programs. Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience or the equivalent is required for the 12-month coaching stipend $15,000. Teaching opportunities are also available dependent on qualifications. Position open until filled. First Review date 12/01/15.

COLLEGE INSTRUCTOR

Temporary, Certificated, Part-Time
To teach a wide range of college level courses in the discipline of college.  Any bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience, or any associate degree and six years of professional experience. Teaching experience preferred, yet not required. EOE. Position open until filled.  

COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS INSTRUCTOR

Temporary, Academic, Part-Time
To teach a wide range of college level courses in the Digital Technology Department.  Any Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience, or any Associate degree and six years of experience.  Teaching experience is preferred, yet not required. Online opportunities available.  Position open until filled.

ENGLISH INSTRUCTOR

Temporary, Academic, Part-Time
To teach a wide range of college level courses in the discipline of English.  Master’s in English, literature, comparative literature, or composition OR a Bachelor’s in any of the above AND Master’s in linguistics, TESL, speech, education with a specialization in reading, creative writing, or journalism OR the Equivalent.  Teaching experience preferred, yet not required. Online and correspondence opportunities available, including teaching students at Plumas County Jail. EOE. Position open until filled.

GEOLOGY INSTRUCTOR

Temporary, Academic, Part-Time
To teach Introduction to Physical Geology in the fall 2016 semester. Master’s degree in geology, geophysics, earth sciences, meteorology, oceanography, or paleontology OR bachelor’s degree in geology AND master’s degree in geography, physics, or geochemistry OR the equivalent. Teaching experience is preferred, yet not required.  Position open until filled.

Feather River Community College is currently seeking qualified applicants to add to their pool of Associate Faculty Instructors in any discipline(s). Requires a Master's degree in the field of study or the equivalent. Teaching experience is preferred, yet not required. Position open until filled.
