Under general supervision, the agriculture instructor is responsible for teaching agriculture courses and for planning, developing, and maintaining the departmental curriculum which includes the Equine and Ranch Management Bachelor of Science degree program that is currently being developed.  The agriculture instructor will teach lower and upper division courses in agriculture business, farm management, animal science and other courses as assigned in areas of his or her expertise.  Master’s degree in agriculture, agriculture science, education with a specialization in agriculture or other agricultural area OR the equivalent. Looking for one Defense and one Offensive Skill coach. Duties may include assisting in football operations, recruiting, academic monitoring, practice organization, video editing, and other related activities. Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience or the equivalent is required for 10-month coaching stipend of $9,500. Teaching opportunities are also available dependent on qualifications. To teach a wide range of college level courses in the discipline of Communication Studies.  Master’s in Speech, speech broadcasting, telecommunications, rhetoric, communication, communication studies, speech communication, or organizational communication OR a Bachelor’s in any of the above AND Master’s in drama/theater arts, mass communication, or English OR the Equivalent.  Teaching experience preferred, yet not required. Advises and provides counseling for Student Support Service Programs on a variety of school and program-related issues, decisions, and processes. Assists students in determining a major, complete student educational plans, making transfer plans, and conducting interventions to assure success. Provide career counseling including conducting and interpreting career assessments and aptitude tests. Provide academic counseling including assistance with policy interpretations and registering for classes. Provide personal counseling including referrals to local mental health providers, and crisis intervention. Develop and foster relationships with teaching faculty by attending all curriculum meetings, Academic Senate meetings, and Division meetings. Other related duties as assigned. Master’s degree in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, or career development, marriage and family therapy, or marriage, family and child counseling, OR the equivalent.
