ASSOCIATE (ADJUNCT) FACULTY POSITIONS

ASSISTANT FOOTBALL COACH

Temporary, Certificated, Part-time
Position will be with the Offensive Line. Duties may include assisting in football operations, recruiting, academic monitoring, practice organization, video editing, and other related activities. Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience or the equivalent is required for coaching stipend. Teaching opportunities are also available dependent on qualifications. EOE.  Open until filled. COMMUNICATION STUDIES INSTRUCTOR

Temporary, Certificated, Part-Time
To teach a wide range of college level courses in the discipline of Communication Studies.  Master’s in Speech, speech broadcasting, telecommunications, rhetoric, communication, communication studies, speech communication, or organizational communication OR a Bachelor’s in any of the above AND Master’s in drama/theater arts, mass communication, or English OR the Equivalent.  Teaching experience preferred, yet not required. COUNSELOR

Temporary, Certificated, Part-Time
Advises and provides counseling for Student Support Service Programs on a variety of school and program-related issues, decisions, and processes. Assists students in determining a major, complete student educational plans, making transfer plans, and conducting interventions to assure success. Provide career counseling including conducting and interpreting career assessments and aptitude tests. Provide academic counseling including assistance with policy interpretations and registering for classes. Provide personal counseling including referrals to local mental health providers, and crisis intervention. Develop and foster relationships with teaching faculty by attending all curriculum meetings, Academic Senate meetings, and Division meetings. Other related duties as assigned. Master’s degree in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, or career development, marriage and family therapy, or marriage, family and child counseling, OR the equivalent. Position open until filled.

ENGLISH INSTRUCTOR

Temporary, Certificated, Part-Time
To teach a wide range of college level courses in the discipline of English.  Master’s in English, literature, comparative literature, or composition OR a Bachelor’s in any of the above AND Master’s in linguistics, TESL, speech, education with a specialization in reading, creative writing, or journalism OR the Equivalent.  Teaching experience preferred, yet not required. Regular, Classified, Full-Time, 12-month, $3,364 - $4,087/month
Under direction, to provide staff assistance on a variety of matters; to provide administrative assistance and secretarial support to the  Director of Facilities/Chief Technology Officer; to perform complex clerical accounting tasks in the preparation and maintenance of accounting records and reports; and to perform related duties as assigned.  Please click here to view the job flyer. ADMISSIONS & RECORDS TECHNICIAN  

Regular, Classified, Full-time, 12-month, $3,067 – $3,724/month
Under minimal supervision performs data analysis and technical clerical work. Inputs student information into the Student Information System, processes registration applications, and enrollment. UPWARD BOUND ADVISOR 

Regular, Classified, Part-Time (55%), 11 month, $20.38 - $24.74/hr
Under direction, provide services to UB participants in target schools in conducting workshops, tutoring, field trips and summer residential activities.  Skill/ knowledge in marketing an institution or service, principles and techniques of public speaking, and experience working with students.  Bachelor’s degree is required.   Please click here to view the job flyer. UTILITY WORKER/ CUSTODIAN

Regular, Classified, Part-Time (85%), 12-month,  $13.89 - $16.85/ hr.
