About Feather River College Residence Hall

The Feather River Residence Hall complex is owned by the Feather River College Foundation. The student-exclusive, two-story apartment buildings are modern and convenient, and are located a short, five-minute walk from the center of the Feather River College campus. A suite-style dorm design naturally blends into the nearby hillside, which provides a backdrop of towering pine and oak.

The Foundation's responsibility is to support the academic mission of Feather River College by providing living environments, which enhance the educational and personal growth of FRC students.

Most of the apartments are spacious, one-bedroom units, which are shared by two students. Two-bedroom units are shared by four students. Because there is a high demand for student housing, all apartments will be reserved to full capacity, i.e., a single student may not live in a one-bedroom suite alone. Co-ed apartment sharing is not allowed.

All of the apartments feature one bathroom, a full kitchen area, living room, dining area, utilities, cable TV, wall-to-wall carpeting, desk, one bed per student and private outside entrances.  All remodeled apartments come with a mini-fridge/ freezer and microwave (stoves and large fridges are not provided in these remodeled units).
 

On-site management includes at least one resident assistant in each building. Security patrols and student activities also combine to make Feather River Residence Halls an exceptional all-around housing value for FRC students.
