Prior to joining the Golden Eagles staff, she was a student assistant coach at Humboldt State University for two seasons. She assisted Head Coach Joddie Gleason with recruiting, monitored study hall, helped with on court instructions and ran all of the Humboldt State basketball camps.
Prior to assisting at Humboldt State, Richelieu was a student athlete for the Lumberjacks and played three seasons with them before going down with a career ending knee injury. Thanks to her love and knowledge of the game she was fortunate to get the opportunity to assist with Coach Gleason and her staff at Humboldt.
She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree at the Humboldt State University while coaching, majoring in kinesiology emphasis in teaching coaching. Richelieu plans on starting her masters in the fall.
Richelieu began her coaching career at Pacific Union Charter School, where she spent two seasons the head coach. She was also involved in coaching many prestige’s summer camps such as Stanford Tara VanDerveer Camp, University of Arizona and Humboldt State basketball camp. |
