Eagles struggle to end on a high note

Both defense and offensive struggled to work for the Eagles. In the first game the defensive committed 5 errors allowing Redwoods to jump to an early lead. Freshman Corby Ramsey went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's and a homerun. The Eagles fought hard to get back into the game, but were unable to pull off a win.

The second game was not any better for the Eagles as again the defense struggled to back up the pitching performance of Rachel Bush. The defense committed 7 costly errors, allowing Redwoods to get back into the game. Again the Eagles left 8 runners on base, unable to hit at the right time to score. Janette Boyer hit a two run homerun giving the Eagles their only lead of the game. Redwoods answered back and scoring 8 runs to win 8 to 3.
