Andre Fletcher

(FRC Basketball) FRC head coach Randy Rick met with combo-guard and Las Vagas product Andre Fletcher and came away impressed.  The 6' guard has the all around package.  He's tough, plays hard, is quick, shoots the lights out and understands the game.

Noblitt signs at D 1 Cal. State Northridge

(FRC Basketball) FRC’s sophomore shooting guard Jordan Noblitt has announced his commitment to attend Division 1 California State Northridge located in Los Angeles.  Nobblitt, arguably the best pure shooter in the state of California shooting 47 percent (85-of-181) from three-point  territory, and 89 percent from the free-throw line.  With game highs of 28 and 31, Noblitt is expected to provide the deep three and the ability to stretch the defense.  “We are excited about what Jordan brings to our program,” Northridge head coach Bobby Braswell commented.  “He brings a different dimension than what we’ve had the last couple of years.  He’s a great shooter who can knock down shots from the deep three.  His presence and skill level will help stretch defenses and open up our inside game,” Braswell concluded.

Noblitt, a 6’3”, 180-pound guard out of Missoula, Montana, and Missoula’s Loyola High School, is the 38th recruit to sign a National Letter of Intent with the Matadors during the Braswell era.  While at Loyola HS, Noblitt was selected as a Montana All-State performer and chose Northridge over several D1 programs throughout the nation. As a freshman at Feather River, Noblitt was instrumental in leading FRC to their third Golden Valley Conference Championship in six years with a 19-10 season record.  As a sophomore, Noblitt led FRC to three preseason tournament championship games out of five tournaments.  “Jordan will go down as one of the best pure shooters to ever play in the Golden Valley Conference”, said FRC head coach Randy Rick. “I only had one rule for Jordan.  He could only shoot if he saw orange on the rim”, Rick said.  “Jordan’s a great person who comes from a solid family background. His dad Steve and mom Sandy have done a unbelievable job raising Jordan,” Rick concluded.
