Stewart to FRC

5'11" point guard Charles Stewart is off to Feather River. Stewart, known for his uncanny instincts is regarded as one of the top point guards to come out of Birmingham, Alabama in recent years. At Hayes high school Stewart averaged 15 points, 10 assists and 6 steals per game. "Charles plays in the toughest adult league in Birmingham and the guy is fearless and has command of the game at all times," shared FRC head coach Randy Rick. "Charles makes every player on the court better and has great leadership qualities that you don't teach. His court vision, quickness and instincts set him appart. He's being compared to Eric Bledsoe who recently signed at Kentucky so that speaks for itself," Rick Continued. "Not only does he play in the toughest league in Birmingham, Charles has led his team to three Championships in the last four year. Charles is a winner and I can't wait to watch Charles play with our new recruits and our returners. He is a true point guard and will give our crowd some great entertainment this coming year," Rick shared. "Charles and I spent quality time at which time I met the backbone of his family, his mom Lelia. Lelia is the kind of mom that is driven and has instilled that principle in her children. She has coached all of her children to be both humble and successful," Rick concluded.
