Both Michael Harvey and Jaime Washington school, led their high school team to back-to-back Final Four Alabama High School State Championship appearances and are trained by Alabama Great Brian Williams. Adrian Nelson is regarded as one of the best big men in Alabama this year. "These three are great players but even better people," said FRC head coach Rick.

Harvey, a 6'5" guard was a unanimous 2009 All-Metro 1st team and the 2009 Offensive Player of the Year while leading his team in rebounds and block shots. Harvey was also a captian of his high school's back-to-back Final Four team this year. "We've had some great athletes in my ten years at FRC and Michael can compete with the best of them," commented Feather River's head coach Randy Rick. "Michael runs like a deer and can kiss the rim," Rick continued. "Michael has the ability to make every player on the floor better. Opponents will have their hands full trying to contain him this year and with his athleticism, he'll help sell season tickets and already has Div. I coaches calling. Michael can break defenders down as well as jump over and dunk on

opponents," Rick continued. "Michael comes from great people. His mom Renee is the best that you can come by and his sister Jacqulyn and brother Jeronamo

will give Michael plenty of reason to bring honor back to Alabama," Rick added.

Jaime Washington, a 6'3" combo guard was also a unanimous 2009 All-Metro 1st team while garnishing the Most Assist and Most steal awards. Washington also captained his high school team to two back-to-back Final Four appearances. Jaime was the Most Valuable Player of the prestigous 2009 Reggie Evans Tournament and won the 2009 Cobb County Invitational Award this year. "Jaime is a big, strong guard who with his quickness creates constant mismatches," Rick explained. "He breaks defenders down at will, can dunk on them, has a great mid-range shot and can make the assist. He makes the game looks easy and has the ability to put up big numbers in assist, steals and free-throws," Rick shared. "Jaime will play at the Div. I level when leaving FRC," Rick continued. "I met Jaime's mom Lisa and understood very quickly the foundation from which Jaime comes from. Lisa is unbelievable...I've also be in contact with J's step-mom Kim who is also a 'stand-up' women with a monster work ethic and values that have been enbedded in Jaime's character," concluded Rick

Adrian Nelson, a 6'6" 220lb foward is regarded as one of the best big men in the outgoing 2009 Alabama class. Nelson, also a 2009 All-Metro unanimous pick led his high school team to two Regional State appearences. Adrian was second in the State of Alabama in rebounds (12 reb. per. game) and led his school in blocked shots. Nelson's game high this year was 21 rebounds and 9 blocked shots. "Adrian has the best instincts at the foward position of any player that has played at FRC in a long time," admitted Rick. "Adrian has great basketball IQ, can put the ball on the floor, post up and will play at the Div. I at the three and four position," Rick concluded. Adrian played in the 2009 Alabama vs Mississippi All-Star game.
