FRC announces the new head football coach.........
Tom Simi!
Tom Simi begin's his reign as head football coach at Feather River College and is currently leading next season's team through a rigorous spring conditioning program. Not wasting time in recruiting, Tom and his coaching staff have identified numerous prospects, locally and abroad, that will enhance the football program for next year. Having returned to the Mid Empire league, leaving from what is arguably one of the most challenging leagues in the nation for junior college football, the Nor Cal Conference, of which FRC managed to secure a bowl game in one of their two seasons as members of that prestigious league, Coach Simi is confident his team will make their presence known with the talent that is coming to play for FRC. "Emphasis on academic growth, graduation and placement on to the 4yr college level is our program's top priority for our student-athletes." Coach Simi shared. "With the addition of key recruits to our core of returning sophomores I expect Golden Eagle Football to re-establish itself as a championship contender. A successful season will give us the platform to accomplish our goal of moving these talented young men on to the 4 year level where they will represent FRC well."
