J. D. Johnson
Head Football Coach
J.D. Johnson is in his fourth year here at Feather River College and his third year as Head Coach. His first year with the Golden Eagles J.D. was the Assistant Head Coach & Defensive Coordinator. J.D., a native of Colorado Springs, Colorado played his college ball at The University of Northern Colorado, where he earned his degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. As a member of the Bears J.D. played Defensive Back and Special Team, while helping lead the team to the schools' first ever Division II National Championship in 1996. J.D.’s parents Doug and Kathy are both lifetime educators and his father Doug had an illustrious 40 year High School Football coaching career. J.D.'s coaching career has several stops including a stint at Colorado State University as an offensive assistant under head coach Sonny Lubick, where he had the pleasure of coaching several NFL players including WR David Anderson, QB Bradlee Van Pelt, CB Dexter Wynn, LB Andre Sommersall, and TE Joel Dreessen

Josh White
Assistant Head Coach / Offensive Coordinator
Josh White is in his sixth year here at Feather River College and his third year as Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator. Since Josh has been the offensive coordinator at Feather River College, the offense has averaged 34 points per game and gaining more than 425 yards per game. In his six years here at Feather River College Josh has coached 24 All-Conference selections, 4 All-Region selections and 2 All-State players.

Mike Haydon
Defensive Coordinator / Defensive Line Coach
Michael enters his third season with the Feather River Golden Eagles. Currently the defensive coordinator and Defensive Line coach, Haydon has also served as Defensive Backs coach and Special Teams coordinator. In 2010, Michael helped lead the Golden Eagles to a state leading 29 turnovers. Michael comes to Feather River after working as a Graduate Assistant for the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and an Assistant Coach at Defiance College. Before starting his coaching career Michael was a 4-year starter at Defiance College where he played Defensive Back, and Linebacker. Michael is currently working towards his Master’s degree.

Davion Wright
Offensive Line Coach
Davion enters his second season with the Feather River Football Program after spending the 2011 season as the Offensive Line Coach at Tidewater Community College. Davion was a standout offensive lineman at the Feather River College, and parlayed that success to a scholarship at Hampton University, where played on an offensive line that helped the Pirates average 106.4 rushing yards and nine scores on the season. He brings his experience as a former Golden Eagle and a Division 1 student-athlete to the football program.

Bryon Hughes
Assistant Offensive Line Coach / Wide Receivers Coach
Bryon enters his first season with the Golden eagles coaching both the Wide Receivers and Offensive Line. For the last 3 years he has coached at Quincy High School. Bryon is a 13 year military veteran, having served as an enlisted member of the United States Navy and as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force.

Bill Abramson
Wide Receivers Coach
Like Coach Mike Leach of Washington State University and Coach Daron Roberts of West Virginia University, Bill’s path into football coaching came after attending Law School. Like those coaches, the pull to the football field was irresistible. Since 2005, Bill has been continuously coaching football at all levels from youth through college.
