Personal: Taylor likes to spend his free time playing dodgeball, video games, playing ping pong, and fishing.....he is the son of Brett and Gina Bates....he has one younger sister....his favorite food is cheeseburgers and his favorite athlete is Andre Ethier.....his birthdate is 9/20/91.

Coaches Comments: "Taylor had a good fall and he is still competing for playing time behind the plate.  He has the ability to be very versatile for us so we will also look to play him in the outfield and possibly the infield."
