High School:  Ryan was a two sport letterwinner at Moanalua High in Honolulu.  He was a four year letterman for the football team as a linebacker.  He was a three year letterman in baseball as an infielder.

Personal: Ryan enjoys the outdoors, surfing, fishing, diving, and listening to his IPod.....his favorite food is Ribs and his favorite sports teams are the New York Yankees and the New England Patriots.....he is the son of Mario and Lina Cortez....his birthdate is 9/30/92.
