Scout Days Give Golden Eagles Exposure

November 5, 2011

QUINCY, CA - The 2012 Golden Eagles baseball team has enjoyed a very successful fall season, as over sixteen MLB teams and nine different NCAA Division 1 conferences have come through Quincy to watch the Golden Eagles.  The Feather River College baseball program hosted two professional scout days in October, which saw numerous area scouts and regional cross checkers watch the Golden Eagles perform and showcase their talents during practice.

Quincy has also been the spot    for NCAA Division 1 schools to come out and watch the Golden Eagles practice and play fall games. So far this fall two schools from the 2010 NCAA Division 1 College World Series have been in town to watch the Golden Eagles. Also schools from the Pac-10, ACC, Mountain West Conference, West Coast, SEC, Missouri Valley Conference, Ohio Valley Conference, Big South Conference, and WAC have spent time watching the Golden Eagles throughout the fall.

The 2012 Feather River baseball season opens up on Friday, February 3rd at Taft College. The Golden Eagles open up with a three game series at Taft College and then travel to Fresno City College for a single game.
