High School - Robert played hockey and baseball during his high school days in Windsor, Ontario. He was part of the Detroit RBI team this summer that took 2nd place at the RBI World Series.

Personal - Robert enjoys playing video games, fishing, listening to music, talking to family and friends and eating sea food....his favorite athlete is Ken Griffey Jr. and his favorite sports teams are the Detroit Tigers and Chicago Blackhawks....his uncle is the head coach of the Chicago Blackhawks....he is the son of Dave and Jeanne Cooper.....he has one younger brother and two younger sisters.....his birthdate is 10/26/90.

Coaches Comment:  "Rob has a chance to be one of the best left handers we have had in our program.  He will continue to improve his mechanics and command which enable him to have a lot of success. When he figures out how to work in the weight room he will become a very good pitcher. "
