Program Fund For Excellence
The FRC Foundation Program Funds for Excellence helps FRC departments and programs to create a Foundation-managed account that is used to raise donations for targeted needs. A robust Fund for Excellence provides new support for a department’s unique needs, and the opportunity to develop outside funding and partnerships with companies or organizations.
Departments that have a Program Fund for Excellence are:
- Administration of Justice
- Administrative Office Management
- Agriculture and Equines Studies
- Athletics Department
- Early Childhood Education
- Environmental Studies
- FRC Fish Hatchery
- Health and Exercise Studies
- Nutrition, Food and Culinary Arts
- Outdoor Recreation Leadership
- Student Services
Funds can be used for: (examples)
- Materials, Supplies, Books
- Computers and Technology
- Professional Development
- Event Support
(*scholarship are funded separately.)
Does the specific department get all the money?
Yes! All designated gifts go to the department except for a 1% administration fee for the FRC Foundation to manage the money.
General Program Excellence Fund
If you wish to support broader college-wide initiatives, consider donating to the General Program Excellence Fund, also managed by the FRC Foundation. This mini-grant program is open to all departments, and provides funds through an annual grant application cycle.
