Past Projects

Along with scholarship development, the Foundation also works on projects to enhance the programs and student experience at Feather River College. In a collaboration between the college and the Foundation, students have both on and off campus housing through the FRC Residence Halls and the Meadows Apartments. The Foundation also owns the Feather River Fitness Center, a community and student gym that fills a fitness need in the area.

The FRC Community Host Program is program introduced by the Foundation a few years ago as a way to better incorporate FRC students into the community. The program pairs up  Plumas County families with one or two students from the college just for the sole purpose of offering students a friendly face around town. This program is proving to be vital to the integration of many FRC students, some of whom come from oversees to attend our college.

How to Give

There are a variety of ways to give to the Foundation, such as a permanent endowment, annual gifts, matching gifts from you and your employer, one-time cash gifts, wills and bequests and charitable gift annuities. Annually, the FRC Foundation finances dozens of student scholarships, but is forced to turn down many qualified applicants because of limited funds.
