designated funds are exhausted.
Direct Loan Program
Effective with the 2009-10 academic year, Feather River College is pleased to announce that we will be participating in the Federal Direct Loan Program (DL). Funds for the Direct Loan Program come directly from the U.S. Department of Education. FRC previously participated in the Federal Family Educational Loan Program (FFELP) through which the funding sources were banks and other private lenders. With the Direct Loan Program, FRC students and parents will have access to a secure, dependable and affordable source of funds to finance their educational costs.

Verification that he or she is a current recipient of TANF/ AFDC, SSI, or
General Assistance.

waiver is available through the local veterans affairs office.

of a victim of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack.
Students who are eligible for fee waivers may
also be eligible for other forms of financial aid such as scholarships, PELL
