Scholarship Tools & Tips

Searching & applying for scholarships takes some time but can return much needed cash for school.

Here are a few tools to get you started.

Will I Get One?

Some think that because scholarships are competitive that they are impossible to get,

however some have requirements that are easy to meet and possibly not even based on academics.

Although some may have easy requirements, following their directions precisely is vital to your application.

Also, stay within the application time frame; the earlier you submit, the better.

Real Or Scam?

Received an e-mail from someone who will guarantee you a scholarship,

but charge you $50? Scholarships will always be free, you should never have to pay.

You should never give any personal information unless you are 100% sure you know who you are dealing with.

Scholarships are also never 'guaranteed'; stay away from scholarship scams.
