Sue Weber
Who I am
I was born and raised in
Lancaster, PA where I attended both high school and college. I joined the Missionaries
of Charity, a religious order founded by Mother Teresa in 1981. I worked throughout
the U.S. and abroad running soup kitchens, aiding hospices and homeless shelters.
Why ETS is important
to me
The reason
I became involved with ETS is because I believe this program has the opportunity
to help youth discover their passion and guide them in the right direction to
reach their goals. In today’s world the minds and hearts of our youth
seem to be getting smaller and smaller. This program offers them the opportunity
to open both their hearts and minds, to reach beyond the beauty of dreaming
and work towards making their dreams a reality. Having the ability to help youth
gain confidence, leadership skills, originality and the freedom of intellectual
independence is one of my passions and this program gives me that opportunity.
