            Settings on a variety of cameras will be explored as students bring in their own traditional film or digital adjustable camera. Students will learn how to adjust aperture and speed to control the photos they produce.

Photography as Expression 9 hrs, call for dates and times          Instructor: Roger Walden
            Use your camera to express your thoughts and feelings about what you see. Take your snapshots and photos to a new level of art. Students will use their own adjustable camera, either digital of traditional film, to study the art of using light, composition and timing to make artistic images. Older adults will be able to reach skill mastery, and work in both group and individual settings building social interactions, important activities in long-term brain health.

Family History 18 hours, call for dates and times          Instructor: Darrah Hopper
            This class will give students the tools to begin or expand their personal family genealogy. Students will place that family into surrounding historical events. Students will gain the skills necessary to pursue a lifelong hobby that will allow skill mastery and social interaction, two important elements in promoting brain growth for successful aging. The class will use both computer and traditional sources for historical research.
