River College welcomes applications from international students! FRC is a 2-year college awarding Associate Degrees and opportunities to transfer to 4-year colleges or universities. FRC's
location in the quiet mountain community of Quincy, California is an
attractive asset to students who are interested in a safe, friendly small-
town environment.

 Admissions
Requirements
Follow the checklist below for
submitting the necessary admission materials to Feather River College.
Please submit the requested information in English, and adhere to date
deadlines listed on the forms:

Original or certified copy
of all transcripts of previous schools attended that are equivalent to
high school or college level (comparable to those transcripts required
for university admission in the home country);

Official results of the
Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) if student's native
language is not English, with a recommended score of 500 on the written exam and 133 on the computer based test.

Evidence of satisfactory
financial support (see estimated expenses) by providing a written
guarantee from the bank of a parent, relative or sponsor in the United
States (travel plans are the responsibility of the student);

Physician's Certificate
of Health, completed by a physician, showing an immunization clearance
examination and results of a tuberculosis test;

Evidence of a sickness and
accident insurance policy;
International students, who must complete a minimum of 12
units each semester, maintain at least a "C" grade point average,
and complete their academic program at Feather River College within six
semesters.
International
Student Tuition
A full-time student is one who
enrolls in 12 units per semester. All students receive a bus pass that
provides free local transportation. Foreign students pay a nonresident
tuition fee of $180 per unit. The parking fee is waived if a student does
not own a vehicle.
Required fees for the upcoming semester:
- Standard Enrollment Fee $26 per unit plus

- Parking Fee:
$40 per year/$20 per semester, $5
summer session/$1 per day
Optional Fees:
International students must pay enrollment fees at the time of registration.
Applicants selected for
admission are responsible for their own housing. Many students reside in the
nearby Feather River Apartments. The FRC
Student
Outreach Office may also be of assistance in providing housing
information.
