Refund Information for Student Fees

Feather River College will automatically process a student fee refund if the College cancels a class.  All other refunds will be processed as follows:

If the balance is $10 or more:

• Refunds for full-term classes will be automatically processed by the college for 100% of the balance minus the $10 refund processing fee for full-time classes dropped through the second week of classes. No refunds will be issued for full-term classes dropped after the second week of classes.

• Refunds for half-term classes will be automatically processed for 100% of the balance minus the $10 refund processing fee for half-term classes that are dropped through the first week of classes.  No refunds will be issued for half-term classes dropped after the first week of classes.

• Refunds for short-term classes will be automatically processed for 100% of the balance minus the $10 refund processing fee for short-term classes that are dropped prior to the first class meeting.  No refunds will be issued for short-term classes dropped after the first class meeting.

If the balance is less than $10, the amount will be credited to the student for the next semester.  Credits not issued in the following semester will be written off.
