Feather River College has begun its self study for the new accreditation standards required by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The standards have been changed from ten segregated standards to four holistic standards. The changes bring new challenges, but also provide opportunities for the integration of new ideas and institutional improvements offered by the new prospective of the four standards.Feather River College's peer site visit for accreditation is March 2006.
