This website is designed to share campus wide information and organization to the accreditation process. An overview of the accreditation process is provided as well as documents regarding Feather River College accreditation work. It is our hope that you find these materials practical and informative for your continuing engagement in the FRC accreditation process.
Feather River College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The college had its last full evaluation in the March of 2006, when it addressed the new ACCJC standards. A midterm report was completed in the fall of 2008 and was followed by a spring 2009 site visit. As accreditation cycles are six years in length, Feather River College will have its next full evaluation in the spring of 2012.
Currently, Feather River College is addressing two phases of the accreditation cycle. The first focus is completing our follow-up report to the ACCJC site team's four recommendations from its spring 2009 midterm site visit. Overlapping this focus is the development of Feather River College's self-study. Links regarding both of these phases are provided on this web site.
