FRC has been a member campus of the California Child Development Training Consortium (CDTC) since 1993. Through the CDTC, students may be reimbursed for tuition for taking classes in ECE and/or general education. To be eligible a student must be working directly with children in a licensed center or family child care home and be seeking or maintaining a Child Development Permit.
The CDTC will also pay the processing fees to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing for the following Child Development Permits:
- Assistant Teacher
- Associate Teacher
- Teacher
- Master Teacher
- Site Supervisor
- Program Director
The CDTC also maintains a list of trained, professional growth advisors for those who are holding a permit.
