Training Consortium

FRC has been a member campus of the California Child Development Training Consortium (CDTC) since 1993.  Through the CDTC, students may be reimbursed for tuition for taking classes in ECE and/or general education.  To be eligible a student must be working directly with children in a licensed center or family child care home and be seeking or maintaining a Child Development Permit.

The CDTC will also pay the processing fees to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing for the following Child Development Permits:

  • Assistant Teacher
  • Associate Teacher
  • Teacher
  • Master Teacher
  • Site Supervisor
  • Program Director

The CDTC also maintains a list of trained, professional growth advisors for those who are holding a permit.

Contact Shelley Miller, CDTC Campus Coordinator at (530) 283-0202 ext. 311 or smiller@frc.edu for more details.
